Important note
A key role of Facilitators is to point Teams to chapters of Godsend that are relevant to the stage of the Missional Journey they are each currently at. So, Facilitators must be familiar with the broad content of Godsend. It is strongly recommended that you read the first five chapters of the Godsend book and watch the 18 animations on the Godsend website, each about 1.5mins. Why not watch them all as a team over a long cup of coffee?
This will be time well spent, helping you to:
- Support and advise Teams with moving around the Missional Journey.
- Grow your own understanding of how new Christian communities emerge.
- Provide you with a selection of videos that could help you with planning the content of Gatherings. (You'll find each Gathering programme template allows for a 15-minute Godsend slot and offers two suggested Godsend units you could use. These are simply suggestions for how you might use the resource in your context, but you're free to adapt the choices as needed).
